Crossmoor - Anthracite Electric Towel Rail H736mm x W500mm 600w Standard

Material

Steel offers the lowest price tag compared to other materials, but it also offers the most diversity in terms of colour and style. Steel is a highly durable material which is important as towel rails are going to be the victims of some knocks and bangs over time and you want them to withstand that.

Style

The Round tube style is slightly more modern option than Flat or Elliptical style tubes, with smooth seamless 22mm thick tubes. The powder painting gives the metal a perfectly even finish which is easy to maintain and clean! With the Crossmoor you get not 1 but 2 rows of round tubes, providing plenty of space to hang the towels in the family bathroom.

Colour

Anthracite is a high-end variety of coal noted for the purity of its carbon and the dark grey smoke it emits when burning. It’s also one of our customers’ most popular picks for a modern-looking towel rail that looks as good as it functions. The smoky matt finish you achieve with this colour is quite unlike any other and produces a stylish effect with even the most minimalist design. As we become more conscious of our surroundings, tastes shift from the functional and the merely decorative to something combining qualities of both, and anthracite towel rails certainly tick all of the boxes.

Heat Source

This electric towel radiator comes with an electric element and works completely independently from any other heating system you may have in your home and so is ideal for those bathrooms where you can’t access a central heating system or maybe guest rooms that are very rarely used. This independence is ideal for summer, providing warm toasty towels without turning on the boiler - saving energy and money.

Accessories

This towel rail is provided with everything required to hang the rail on the wall - brackets & masonry fixings, chrome bleed valve and blanking plug, as well as all the accessories needed for the Electric functionality - electric element, 2 x t-pieces, a pair of angled manual valves. The t-piece acts as an extension which allows you to insert the electric element into the towel rail as well as attach the valves. The use of 2nd t-piece provided is optional, for those who want to create symmetry with the valves on both sides of the rail. The element can be installed on either the left or right hand side of the towel rail - whichever is better for your set up.

The Element

The Talus standard element offers simple on/off control over your radiator or towel rail. Simply install into the towel radiator and then wire this element into either a switched fused spur or one with timer capabilities for more control.

*These electric heating elements must be installed by a registered competent electrician. Any faults developed due to incorrect installation will not be covered under the product warranty. The suggested fuse size is calculated based on a 230V supply and whilst 230V is the nominal voltage given to homes in the UK, the actual voltage supply can vary. The registered competent electrician carrying out the installation will determine the appropriate size of fuse to use for the installation.
