Talus Bold - Natural Pewter Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield Corner 15mm

Connection
These valves come with a ½" BSP thread, compatible with all standard radiators and towel rails in the UK. The 15mm connection fits most domestic pipework, and versions for 8mm and 10mm microbore systems are also available to suit a wide range of installations.

Fitting Type
Corner valves provide a tidy 90-degree connection where pipework emerges horizontally from the wall, ideal for:

• Radiators with side connections and pipework exiting directly from the wall.

• Radiators with bottom connections, where a clean, wall-fed appearance is preferred.

• In some cases, where pipework exits the wall and bends up to side inlets, corner valves can be used—but if the valve would protrude in front of the radiator, an angled valve may offer a better fit.

Each valve set includes a matching lockshield for the return side, ensuring consistent design and balanced flow.

Control Type
These are Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs), offering independent temperature control for each radiator. The internal liquid-filled sensor reacts to room temperature, automatically shutting off the water flow once the set temperature is reached—helping reduce energy waste and heating bills.
A frost protection mode is included: if the ambient temperature drops too low, the valve opens slightly to prevent pipework from freezing.

Colour
Natural Pewter features a beautifully textured matte grey finish, inspired by antique pewter and classic cast iron. This timeless shade works seamlessly with most radiator colours—including white, black, anthracite, and raw metal—making it one of the most versatile choices for both modern and traditional interiors.
