Talus - Dual Fuel Towel Rail Kit 600w Standard
A dual fuel kit is used to convert a central heating towel rail or radiator into a dual fuel one, providing the beneficial functionality of heating your towel rail using central heating in the winter, and the electric element in the summer. Not only is this dual fuel functionality better for the environment, as well as kinder to your wallet (because you aren’t firing up the boiler in summer to dry a few bath towels) it also makes for better boiler health and control over your homes heating. Included in your kit is an element, 2 x t-pieces and a pair of angled valves. The t-piece acts as an extension which allows you to insert the electric element into the towel rail as well as attach the valves. The use of 2nd t-piece provided is optional, for those who want to create symmetry with the valves on both sides of the rail.
ColourChrome is a great colour to create some shine, without the need for a bold bright colour. With a naturally reflective polished finish, it can be great for smaller rooms to give the illusion of extra space. Chrome also goes with pretty much every colour of radiator or towel rail so if you want to play it safe, play it chrome.
The Element
The Talus standard element offers simple on/off control over your radiator or towel rail. Simply install into the towel radiator and then wire this element into either a switched fused spur or one with timer capabilities for more control.
